p5.js BoUnCy BaLl

So I actually accidentally made this animation while I was messing with the initial bouncy ball. I was trying to figure out how to get it the other way and then it turned into a DVD loading screen. I did go back to make sure I knew exactly how I got everything to do what I want.

I eventually got there and decided on making every time it hit the left or right side, it became a color on the lighter side of the spectrum, and darker when it hit the bottom and top. One issue I had was I had attempted to change the background value with each bounce but was only able to make a strobe-like, seizure-inducing mess.
